Hi and thanks for agreeing to fill out this survey! Please evaluate each of the following ten tunes on a scale of 1 - 5 in terms of originality, aesthetic quality and correctness, with 1 being poor and 5 being excellent. The tunes are all generated from ABC files and so there is no "expressiveness" in any of the tunes. You can click on the tune link to cause the tune to be loaded in a new browser window, or you can download all the tunes in a zip file. Nine of these tunes were composed by a computer program, while one was composed by a human. After evaluating each of the tunes, please try and guess which tune was composed by a human.
